The third is to strengthen the linkage with other port inspection units and local health departments, strengthen the hygiene supervision of port food production and operation units, storage sites, entry and exit vehicles, and containers, and prohibit the keeping of live birds within the scope of port facilities and on vehicles. The fourth is to strengthen the quarantine and supervision of poultry products. Focus shall be placed on the prevention and control of the poultry flocks in farms, supervise and guide the export processing enterprises of poultry products, and record the poultry farms to effectively implement various animal epidemic prevention measures. The fifth is to strengthen the bird flu prevention and control propaganda and education work, and enhance the awareness of prevention and control of entry-exit personnel and the general public.
