The piston connecting rod set is an important structural device of the diesel engine. When assembling it, pay attention to the following points:
First, press the connecting rod copper sleeve. When installing the connecting rod copper sleeve, it is best to use a press, or by means of a vise. Do not hit with a hammer. The oil hole or oil groove on the copper sleeve must be aligned with the oil hole on the connecting rod to ensure lubrication. After the copper bushing is pressed in, the distance between the two ends protruding from the end face of the connecting rod should be equal.
Second, the assembly piston and connecting rod. When assembling the piston and connecting rod, pay attention to their relative position and direction. The big end of the connecting rod is a flat incision. The vortex groove at the top of the piston should be on the same side of the connecting rod's large end. The big end of the connecting rod is an oblique incision. The vortex groove at the top of the piston should be on the same side as the upper end of the oblique incision. The top of the piston has a pointed end and should be directed toward the injection pump.
Third, smartly installed piston pin. The piston pin and pin hole are interference fit. When installing, the piston should be heated evenly in water or oil to 90°C~100°C. After removal, put the rod in the proper position between the piston pin holes, and then install the piston pin with organic oil in the direction as required. Into the piston pin hole and connecting rod copper sleeve. At the same time, to push the piston pin sideways, move the connecting rod, use the thumb or palm to shoot into the pin hole and the small copper sleeve of the connecting rod, and move in it, which means that the matching tightness is proper. To make the piston pin end face equal to the distance between the two piston pin retaining rings, install the retaining ring.
Fourth, the piston ring installation. When installing the piston rings, pay attention to the position and sequence of the rings. The first air ring on the piston, usually a chrome ring. The second and third rings are mostly twisted rings and also have tapered rings. In the case of an inner cut ring, the cut should be downwards; in the case of a conical ring, the side or cone with the "up" character should face upwards. The piston ring must not be stuck in the groove; the opening of the first gas ring cannot be directly opposite to the pin hole of the piston and the vortex groove on the top of the piston; the opening positions of adjacent rings should be staggered by 90 to 120 degrees to prevent in-cylinder Gas leaks to facilitate sealing. After inserting the piston ring, check its opening clearance (end clearance) and edge clearance. If the clearance is too large, it may cause air leakage. If the clearance is too small, it will cause seizure. The side clearance is the gap between the piston ring and the ring groove at a high level. It allows the ring to move freely in the ring groove without getting stuck. This gap should not be too large. Otherwise, when the piston moves up and down in the cylinder, the gas ring will produce a pumping effect. The lubricant will enter the combustion chamber, accelerating the consumption of lubricating oil and causing serious carbon deposition.
Five, into the connecting rod group. When the connecting rod group is installed in the cylinder, when attaching the connecting rod cover, attention should be paid to the paired marking of the big end of the connecting rod, and at the same time, tighten the bolt with the torque of 2 to 3 times according to the specified torque. The rotation of the crankshaft should be no jamming, and finally the lock is installed. Tight iron or insurance sheet.
