In order to improve the comprehensive economic benefits of aquaculture and promote the sustainable development of high-quality aquatic aquaculture, in 2002, we conducted trials of river crab pond culture at the Huihai farm in Changji City, Xinjiang, and achieved good results. The technical measures are summarized below.
First, the pond condition area is suitable for 10 mu -30 mu, the pond is rectangular, the east-west direction, the slope ratio is 1:35, the bottom of the pool is flat, the deepest pond water level can reach 2.0m, no seepage, good water retention performance. There are two shallow water areas in the pond with water depths of 0.5m and 0.8m, respectively. The pond is easy to enter and drain, and the inlet and outlet are set on the diagonal of the pond to facilitate the formation of circulating water. The sources of water are unpolluted river and groundwater, and there are no industrial and domestic wastewater sources near the pond.

5. The deer crab stocking According to the characteristics of the short period of growth of local crabs, in order to achieve the ideal market specifications for crabs in the current year, the crabs of the Yangtze River were purchased and the crabs were basically the same in size, robust in constitution, complete in appendages, and active in crawling. There are no attachments on the watch, the delivery time is April 25, specifications are 200/kg, and the average stocking capacity is 500/mu. The amount of feed was controlled at 2% of the body weight of the crabs. - 5%, two times daily feeding, the amount of feed in the morning accounted for 30% of the entire day, the location of a fixed deep-water area, the amount of feed in the afternoon accounted for 70% of the daily feed, the location of a fixed shallows area. In June, the fed amount gradually increased to 8% of the crab's weight, and entered the high-temperature season in July. It is necessary to ensure that the crabs have sufficient and nutritious feed, but also to ensure that the aquatic environment of the breeding waters is fresh and the feed is properly increased. Corn, wheat, bean cakes and other plant foods, feed a certain amount of water, reduce animal feed, so as not to damage the water and cause crab disease. In the later period, the crabs were fed to the wild and were fed with wild fish, together with a certain amount of pellet feed and fresh water, and they should be observed when feeding. The food should be eaten within 2 hours to 3 hours, and the excess feed should be regularly removed. The food court implemented key disinfection. During this period, due to the increased feeding capacity of crabs, some watermelon cultivars such as watermelon rind, potatoes and wheat can also be fed. After mid-August, the amount of squash to be fed should also be appropriately increased.
Seventh, daily management
1. In the early stage of water level control, the water level is controlled at 50cm. After every 10 days, water is added 1 time, each time 10cm water is added. By the beginning of June, the pond water level is controlled at 1.2m. Afterwards, water is added 20cm every 7 days, and the bottom water is discharged 20cm. In July, with the advent of the hot season, change the water every 10 days, each time adding 30cm of water, while draining the bottom water 20cm; in August, the whole pool water level is controlled at 1.5m, and change the water at noon on sunny days. Hours; after September, water is added once every 10 days.
2. Water quality regulation In April, May and June, one application of top dressing was applied to ponds and 0.5 mg/mu of monobasic calcium phosphate was added to promote the growth of aquatic weeds, creating a good ecological environment for crabs, and increasing the inorganic content of calcium, phosphorus, etc. in ponds. Salt content; every 20 days in June-September, splash lime with water once per day to control the pH of the water between 7.5-8.5, which can be used for disinfection and disinfection. The clams grow to provide calcium. When cyanobacteria and green algae bloom in large quantities, copper sulfate is splashed at a concentration of 0.5 g/m3 at the outlet of the pond to keep the transparency of the water at about 30 cm.
3. Setting up surface water plants After May, we regularly collect a certain amount of water plants and put them into the pond to set up surface water plants. This can not only solve the need for some green fodder for river crabs, but also prevent sunlight from directly irradiating the ponds and reduce the water temperature in the ponds. It is good for the crabs to inhabit and use the resistance of the aquatic plants to shell and shelter.
4. Regularly patrol the pond to adhere to the morning, the middle and the evening patrol ponds, pay attention to anti-theft, anti-theft, and pay attention to kill water mice. Observe changes in water quality and water temperature, observe the feeding and activities of river crabs, and adjust the feeding amount and management measures of crabs in a timely manner.
5. Disease prevention and control adopts the principle of prevention, prevention and control. The dredging and disinfection of the pond was carried out in the early stage; during the cultivation period, 10 kg/mu of quicklime was poured into the whole pond periodically, combined with regular feeding of baits, which effectively controlled the occurrence of bacterial diseases. In August, individual crabs were found to be infected with ciliate disease, and they were sputtered 2 times (every three days) with copper sulphate and ferrous sulfate mixture 1.0g/m3 to 1.5g/m3 for good results. .
