The paraffin wax is heated and melted, and the temperature is controlled at about 90°C. Firstly, the bud is smashed at one end, and then the sprouted end is fastened to seal the entire scion. Scion and wax immediately put into cold water, then remove the scion and dry for use. Scion is transparent and bright after wax sealing. If it is white, it means that the wax temperature should be warmer. 2. Rootstock Selection and Grafting Time Select 1 to 2 years old wild jujube seedlings or jujube seedlings as rootstocks. The grafting time we chose was 4 hours on June 20th and 27th, July 15th, and August 5th; the grafting method was splicing or abdomen connection, and then it was tightly tied with plastic strips after 7 days. It began to sprout. 3. Management after grafting First, remove the rootstock buds before and after sprouting 3 to 4 times; second, after the survival of the seedlings, strengthen the fertilizer and water management, apply 1 to 2 times of fertilization, mainly using urea and other fast-acting fertilizers. Fertilize and water. Again, attention is paid to the control of red spider or leaf-feeding pests. Spray organic phosphorus pesticides 1 to 2 times. When the height of seedling growth reaches 30cm to 40cm, the plastic strips are cut to facilitate accelerated growth. Using this grafting technology, one can effectively use the summer branches of the year, increase the propagation speed, and extend the grafting time. The second is to make full use of the favorable conditions of light, heat and water synchronization to improve the survival rate of grafting and the growth of seedlings. The seedlings of the year can reach a maximum of 1.2m, the minimum is also more than 60cm, and the average height is about 1m, which can achieve the year of grafting seedling. Third, as long as the scion wax sealed, at room temperature can be stored for 7 days to 10 days, to overcome the disadvantages of grafting Xiazhi grafting with scion grafting, then do not need to take measures such as banding, easy to grasp. At the same time, this method is also suitable for application on other jujube trees.
