Freely match your channel, liquid and dispensing volume like the wind - free your dispenser
The CERTUS FLEX fully automatic non-contact nano-uploader is available in 2 types: 5 or 8 independent control channels. This means that in one application or experiment, up to five or eight liquids can be dispensed simultaneously, or the exact droplets can be dispensed into the target container in a defined order. That is, any dose of liquid can be dispensed into any well of the microplate without contact. Different channels can be equipped with different microvalves, suitable for dispensing solutions of different physical properties. The patented CERTUS software and electronic components independently control the dispensing parameters of each channel.
Flexible liquid selection - maximum liquid viscosity 15000mPa.s
CERTUS FLEX is suitable for non-contact dispensing. Wide range of liquid types: when using conventional solenoid valves, it can dispense aqueous solutions with viscosity below 200mPa.s, alcohol, DMSO, solvents, detergents, cells, DNA, proteins or Oily solution. Macromolecular solutions can also be accurately dispensed. When using a special solenoid valve, it is possible to dispense liquids with a viscosity of 200-15000 mPa.s.
Complete liquid separation control
GYGER's unique microvalve design and patented CERTUS software, electronic controllers and barometric pressure management help to precisely program, implement and control highly complex and small doses. Perfectly integrated with components, CERTUS FLEX offers your fully integrated, independent dispensing system. CERTUS FLEX dispensing volume: 20nL-5mL, increasing by 1nL; accuracy: >500nL: ±1.5%; precision: <100nL: CV<5%, >100nL: CV<2%, above microvalve All are SMLD 300G 0.15/0.03mm. Separation method: equal volume separation, volume increase or decrease liquid separation, backfill, any volume to any hole separation, support Excel design of the dispensing protocol and import software.
Intuitive and flexible software design
CERTUS FLEX comes with easy-to-use and intuitive patented software. The software can compile and store all the liquid separation data on the computer that controls the instrument, or output all the experimental data to electronic spreadsheet software, such as an Excel spreadsheet.

Flexible liquid container selection - suitable for small or expensive liquids
If a large amount of liquid needs to be dispensed, the liquid can be transferred from the reagent bottle or other solution to the microvalve through the tubing. When dispensing a small amount of liquid or expensive material, a 1 to 60 ml syringe can be attached to the microvalve using a snap-on interface.

More than just a microplate
The CERTUS FLEX dispenser dispenses liquid quickly into 48-well to 3456-well microplates. It can also be dispensed into various culture dishes or other containers according to the experimental needs.
Convenience
With CERTUS FLEX, you don't have to do complicated manual dispensing or error-prone dilutions. Let CERTUS FLEX's intuitive operating software and unique dispensing technology help you complete your experiment.
Economical - help you save on operating costs
When purchasing a GYGER dispenser, you do not have an invisible fee. There are no disposable valves, no additional calibration parts, and no disposable tips. Using CERTUS FLEX can help you save a lot of money and is extremely economical.
Long life and easy maintenance
The GYGER microvalve can operate more than 500 million times without affecting its accuracy. Although this is less than the operation of the 100 billion switch valve, the microvalve can dispense up to 5 μL of liquid. This is not a drop of liquid. , but continuous, like a switch faucet. Thus, the number of effective movements of the valve is significantly reduced, and the total number of dispensing operations can be significantly increased. GYGER's microvalve system flushes the valve with water, alcohol, DMSO or solvent after dispensing the viscous solution. The microvalve system can also be disassembled and autoclaved.
Accuracy and flexibility - choose different valves for dispensing
CERTUS has the flexibility to perform highly accurate dispensing of solutions of various viscosities from nanometers to milliliters. Depending on the specific requirements, CERTUS can be equipped with easy-to-remove valves with different nozzle diameters and valve strokes to customize the requirements and experimental requirements. Our recommended "standard" valves are available for dispensing liquids from less than 100 nL to over 1 mL (liquid viscosity between 1 and 200 mPa.s). You can choose different valves depending on the dispensing volume of the specific experiment and the nature of the liquid to be dispensed. GERTUS offers maximum dispensing flexibility.
Seamless integration into your laboratory automation system
CERTUS FLEX is compatible with SiLA standards and can be seamlessly integrated into your laboratory automation system for high-throughput experimental applications. Integrated automation platforms or pipetting platforms are: HighRes, Thermo Fisher, Labcyte, Brooks, Aglient Technologies, PerkinElmer, UK robotics, and others.
The dispensing speed is extremely fast - fasten your experiments
The dispensing speed in "Sequence Mode" (1 microvalve for each solution) is: 96-well plate 19s, 384-well plate 47s, 1536-well plate 145s; dispense speed in "parallel mode" (use of each solution) The four microvalves are: 384-well plate 13s, 1536-well plate 39s, the above experimental conditions are P=0.3 bar, one microvalve is SMLD 300G nozzle diameter 0.15mm, and the liquid separation volume is 500nL.

Flexible liquid selection
CERTUS HANDY is available for dispensing a wide range of liquid types. Including solutions containing small molecules and macromolecules, proteins, nucleic acids and cells, such as aqueous solutions, alcohol, DMSO or cell culture fluids, even high concentrations of solutions can be accurately and reliably dispensed. CERTUS HANDY can dispense individual droplets and dispense any dose into any well of a microplate. Up to 4 dispensing pens can be operated simultaneously or in sequence, so complex dispensing operations that can only be performed with expensive automatic dispensers can be performed with great flexibility and economy. The ground is also the smallest.
Unique CERTUS positioning tool for fast and error-free dispensing
CERTUS HANDY has a unique CERTUS positioning tool with a patented manual guiding function with an electronic sensing system for convenient, precise and error-free dispensing in 96, 384 and 1536 well plates. The liquid dispenses only when the dispensing pen is above the correct microwell. In the "Auto Release" mode, when positioned in the correct hole position, the liquid automatically flows out, there is Helps facilitate and quickly dispense liquids.
Experiments developed and saved on CERTUS HANDY can be transferred to CERTUS FLEX for automated high-throughput dispensing.
SMLD electromagnetic microvalve - GYGER's core, cutting-edge microvalve technology
Developed and patented by GYGER, the SMLD electromagnetic microvalve is the core technology of the CERTUS FLEX automated nano-dispensing dispenser and the HANDY manual nano-dispensing dispenser.
Functional principle of GYGER microvalve
The liquid to be dispensed is injected into the valve body with compressed air (5). When there is no fluid, the microvalve is closed, and the valve nozzle (1) closes the valve close to the moving anchor (7) by pressing the spring (2). When the fluid enters the valve ring (3), the moving anchor with the ball is sucked up by the magnetic force of the anchor (4). The microvalve opens and fluid flows out of the valve nozzle. This dispensing method is non-contact based on the discharge thrust. Based on the dispensing parameters, the microvalve can be opened and closed at a frequency of 4,000 times per second. Specially polished sapphire and ruby are used to make the closure element, so the microvalve has a very low wear rate and can be autoclaved.

GYGER microvalve service life
The GYGER microvalve can operate more than 500 million times without compromising its accuracy, much more powerful than a 100 million-times pressure valve, and the GYGER microvalve can continuously dispense up to 5 μL of liquid. Separation with CERTUS is the result of precise action of fluid pressure, fluid viscosity, valve nozzle diameter, valve opening and closing time and valve stroke.
