Introduction of the structure and workflow of the vacuum feeder

The vacuum feeder uses a vacuum pump to generate a vacuum, and the negative pressure generated by the vacuum draws the material from the feed port. The air is then separated from the material in a filter compartment of the separation vessel. The material is automatically dropped by gravity and the material is collected in the silo. Our cyclone prevents fine powder from entering the filter to increase the efficiency of the filter. When the silo is full of material, the vacuum pump is automatically closed and the pressure inside the conveying device is balanced. The discharge valve opens and the material flows out through the discharge port and falls directly into the storage container. When discharging, the filter core is automatically cleaned by the backflushing air bag. If the material is more viscous, we can install a special vibrator to assist the blanking. At the end of the blanking, the discharge bin is automatically closed and the entire conveying process is started again.
The basic structure of the vacuum feeder:
(1) Power unit: It is a general term for airflow pressurized conveying equipment. Commonly used are air compressors, blowers, vacuum pumps and their drive motors, which are used to provide air flow with a certain speed and pressure to complete the material transport.
(2) Feeder: It is a device used to supply the bulk material into the feeder and form a certain mixing ratio with the airflow. The structure and working principle depend on the physical properties of the material to be conveyed and the form of the pneumatic conveying device. Generally, a feeding device capable of suspending the material in the airflow is used, and is installed at the head end of the conveying system.
(3) Feeder: The pipeline and auxiliary pipe fittings that convey the gas and its mixture with the material are the channels for material transportation.
(4) Separator: The pneumatic conveying device conveys a mixture of material and air. The separator is a device that separates the material from the gas-solid two-phase flow when the material is delivered to the terminal.
(5) Dust collector: The material passes through the separator, most of the material is separated, but some fine particles or powder are difficult to separate, so the gas stream discharged from the separator will contain some fine materials and a large amount of dust. The dust collector installed on the separator can recover this part of the material on the one hand, and reduce the pollution to the environment on the other hand. It can also reduce the wear of the blower for the widely used suction type pneumatic conveyor.
(6) Unloader and unloader: The function is to discharge the separated material from the separator and discharge the dust from the dust collector, and prevent the outside air from flowing back into the conveying system. Therefore, the unloader is installed in the lower part of the separator, and the dust remover is installed under the dust remover.
Vacuum feeder working process:
1. Inhale the material. First, the vacuum suction device of the vacuum feeder uses a vacuum pump to generate a vacuum, and the negative pressure generated by the vacuum is used to suck the material from the feed port;
2. Material separation. In the filter tank of the separation container, the air is separated from the material, in the process, the material is automatically dropped due to gravity, and the material is collected in the silo;
3. Turn off the vacuum pump. When the silo is full of materials, the pressure in the conveying equipment will reach equilibrium, and the vacuum pump will automatically shut down;
4. Open the discharge valve. The material flows out through the discharge port and falls directly into the storage container. In the process, our filter core is automatically cleaned by the backflushing airbag. In addition, if the material we transport is thicker, we can also install a special one. The vibrator assists the blanking, and the entire conveying process will start again after the discharge bin is automatically closed.
