Autoclave operating procedures

In order to make everyone better use the autoclave, the Shanghai Bashu engineers specially arranged the operating procedures of the autoclave and told everyone what to pay attention to when using the autoclave. Please read the following details carefully:

First, the operating procedures of the autoclave

An autoclave is a device that produces high vapor pressure and high temperature to sterilize objects. So how should the autoclave be used? The following will explain to you:

1. First open the exhaust valve, disinfection valve, drying valve and water supply valve before use, add RO water or distilled water to the green line of the glass tube.

2. Then close all valves and set the sterilization time ( 15~30 minutes)

3. Turn on the power switch and start heating and pressing the outer pot (at this time, the power switch and heating light are on, and the outer pot pressure gauge starts to increase)

4. Put the object to be destroyed into the inner pot and close the pot door. When the pressure of the outer pot is 1.2 kg/cm2, open the disinfection valve.

5. When the pressure of the inner pot is expressed, when the temperature rises to 121, the time switch is turned on again, and the automatic timing is squeaked after about 15~30 minutes, indicating that the sterilization is completed.

When the sterilization is completed, the gas can not be depressurized, otherwise the liquid in the bottle will boil vigorously, and the bottle stopper will be washed out and the container may burst. The lid should be opened after the pressure in the sterilizer has fallen to the same level as the atmospheric pressure.

Second, the use of autoclave precautions

When using an autoclave, in order to ensure its normal operation, the following should be noted:

1. First, before each sterilization, check whether the performance of the safety valve is good, in case the pressure inside the pot is too high and an explosion occurs. A qualified safety valve needs to be replaced when the working pressure exceeds 0.165 MPa .

2. The sterilizer should be placed indoors in a ventilated, dry, non-flammable and explosive material.

3. The socket must be equipped with a grounding cable. Make sure that the power plug is securely inserted. Do not damage the cord or use a non-designated power cord. 4. The spring piece on the power cord connection is protective ground and should be in good contact.

5. When removing items that have been poisoned, remember to wear gloves to prevent burns.

6. When placing sterilized items, it is recommended not to be too big or too tight, so as not to hinder the penetration of steam and affect the sterilization effect.

7. It is strictly forbidden to block the air outlet of the safety valve. It is necessary to leave a space to ensure that it is unblocked and vented. Otherwise, the safety valve will not work due to the air outlet blockage, resulting in an accident.
