In the crusting stage, calcium deficiency, yellow-green leaves, and with red or lavender, capsule dark green or brown-green, with markings, leaves off delay. Calcium-deficient plants are weak and susceptible to disease.

In the acidic, sandy and lack of organic fertilizer soil is prone to calcium deficiency.
Third, remedy
The application of lime on the calcium-deficient acidic soil and the application of gypsum on the yellow-calcareous alluvial soil all have significant yield-increasing effects. Calcium fertilizer can be used as base fertilizer, but it can also be applied at the early flowering stage. Alkaline lime should be used on acidic soils, usually 15-25 kg per mu. In saline-alkali soil and calcareous soil, it is appropriate to use physiological alkaline fertilizer gypsum, generally 20-30 kg per mu.
