The actual effect of anti-blue lens

The University of London's Applied Vision Research Centre and the University of Melbourne's Department of Optometry and Visual Sciences research team are currently selling and promoting eye fatigue and inappropriate use of digital devices to improve sleep quality and may confer protection from retinal phototoxicity. The relative benefits and potential hazards of anti-blue lenses have been further studied, and relevant research literature is published in the journal Ophthalmology and Physiology.

A randomized controlled trial set up by the research team recruited a group of normal adults to investigate whether anti-blue lenses affect visual performance, eye fatigue symptoms or eye fatigue, macular integrity changes, and subjective sleep quality, while searching for a large number of medicines. Library and clinical trial registration data and assessment of risk of bias.

Of the three studies, 136 participants participated in the inclusion criteria, and one study used a pseudo-correlation crossover design to compare the effects of anti-blue and normal lenses on contrast sensitivity and color perception. Another study measured the critical fusion frequency as the standard for eye fatigue. The wearer wore a high/low anti-blue lens for two hours of computer tasks. No difference was observed between the low-anti-blue lens and the standard lens group, but at high There was less negative correlation between the critical fusion frequency and the low-anti-blue lens group. Both studies used the Likert scale to compare eye fatigue symptoms. Overall there is no evidence of any differences between groups for high and low anti-blue lenses, and there is no evidence that participants' samples may improve in eye fatigue or symptoms. Another study showed that insomnia patients reported a slight improvement in sleep quality after wearing high-anti-blue lenses, but a study involving normal participants found no differences in sleep quality. For some reasons, no further research or discussion of the effects of blue light energy of normal electronic products on the structure or function of the macula in the eye has been made.

The research team concluded that the lack of high-quality evidence to support normal people using anti-blue lenses may improve visual performance or sleep quality or reduce eye fatigue or macular health.
